| | Re: lost audio I doubt that it is a coincidence. Did you reinstall the drivers or delete them in Device Manager and reboot? That would cause Windows to try to install the drivers again. | | Re: lost audio Type "device manager" in the Start/Search box and hit Enter. When prompted for permissions, click Continue or enter the admin password, whichever you are prompted for. Down near the bottom of the DM screen you will see "Sound, video and game controllers." Click the "+" to expand the listing. Right click on the driver and select "uninstall." Check the box "Delete the driver...." and click OK. Exit the DM and reboot. On restart Vista will ask if you want it to search for a driver. Let it. Report back your result. | | Re: lost audio I worked. I re-installed the driver, I got my sound back. I have not installed my camera yet, but it iwas probably the reason I lost my audio.
