My DVD/CD-ROM drive is not loading

I bought this computer about a year ago. It has Windows Vista Home Premium
on it. A few days ago my DVD/CD-ROM drive quit being recognized by the
computer. The error message I get after looking it up in the device manager
is: "This device cannot start (Code 10)." It then prompts me to click "Check
for solutions," which I have done and nothing happens. Any suggests on how
to reinstall or get the computer to recognize it?
