Copying Partition D to C on hard drive

I went to do a defrag and it looks like partition D has only 9% free space.
How do I copy some of the applications to C and not lose the data on D.

I would appreciate assistance.

Thank you.

Re: Copying Partition D to C on hard drive

On many new computers, the D: drive is a recovery partition, with all of the
files needed to return the computer to the "as bought" condition. No other
files should be saved to this partition.
If yours is not a recovery partition, you may move files, but not most
applications.

Re: Copying Partition D to C on hard drive

You cannot move most applications from one drive to another, you have to
uninstall them from D, and reinstall them to C.
