| | Re: mouse driver not functioning I thought of that but Logitech says to uninstall their drivers when you upgrade to Vista or the mouse won't work. Any other suggestions? -- papapaul "mikeyhsd" wrote: Quote: > install the Logitech drivers and see if it helps. > > > > mikeyhsd@xxxxxx > > > > "papapaul" <papapaul@xxxxxx> wrote in message news 2DB52F8-3EE2-4860-8BBB-FFEDDA653394@xxxxxx> when I plug in my mouse to a gateway laptop with windows vista I get a driver > not found message. the logitech site tells me that the driver should work > with the vista native drivers. any suggestions? > -- > papapaul |

| | Re: mouse driver not functioning I've had this problem for a week now and finally found time to look into it. Go into device manager and right click on the Mouse that is yellow. Choose "browse my computer for driver software" instead of letting vista do it. Point it to "C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers" and choose "Let me pick from a list..." From the list choose HID-complient mouse and next. that was it and its all working again for me. let me know how it goes for you? |
