| | HP PSC 2355 all-in-one - drivers Hello, not sure if I'm here in the correct disscussion group, but I'll give it a go. I installed this printer HP PSC 2355 all-in-one on my Windows Vista Home Premium. This was installed from a downloaded program sent to me via HP. I saved it on my PC, and installed it correctly. All works really fine, except....., after I ran ISysCleaner and restart my pc, it seems that my computer needs to search for the all the drivers for this printer in the folders. It seems that somehow Windows Vista does not keep the installed drivers linked to the Printer Program. Is this normal? Please, can anyone help me on this and inform me: 1. if it is possible that windows keeps all the drivers, even after running a cleaning program such as ISysCleaner? Or how to prvent this from happening again. 2. Shoud drivers dissapear after running ISysCleaner? Thank you for taking a look at this! Best, Erik |

| | RE: HP PSC 2355 all-in-one - drivers Hi Erik, The best advice about so-called cleaning programs is DO NOT USE THEM. This applies to registry as well as file cleaners. To clean files, use Vista's built-in program, 'Disk Cleanup'. Steer well clear of registry cleaners. Superfluous entries in the registry are simply ignored. To fix your problem, you will need to reinstall your printer drivers. It might be a good idea to perform a system restore to a time BEFORE you ran ISysCleaner prior to reinstalling the drivers. Disconnect your printer before reinstalling the drivers. Follow the instructions carefully and don't connect your printer until told to do so by the installation program.
