DVD Media

Hi,

I find that the DVD-R media (disc) get scratched very easy
and quickly become unusable. Is there a spray, a solvent
or anything if any that can be applied to the disc to make
them more durable. i.e. some sort of lacker.

Re: DVD Media

I don't have that problem unless I abuse discs and/or toss them about
without putting them in a sleeve or case. Try buying a better quality disc
and that should resolve your issues.

RE: DVD Media

You can buy a packet of plastic disk cases quite cheaply.

Never put anything, like lacquer, on your disks!

Re: DVD Media

Nope. Don't put anything on them. You can buy some sleeves (plastic or
paper) that protect them.
