| | DVD Media Hi, I find that the DVD-R media (disc) get scratched very easy and quickly become unusable. Is there a spray, a solvent or anything if any that can be applied to the disc to make them more durable. i.e. some sort of lacker. -- Gill Julien 230 Route 361 Head Of Bay D' Espoir Newfoundland, A0H 1R0 |

| | Re: DVD Media I don't have that problem unless I abuse discs and/or toss them about without putting them in a sleeve or case. Try buying a better quality disc and that should resolve your issues. -- Richard G. Harper [MVP Shell/User] rgharper@xxxxxx * NEW! | | RE: DVD Media You can buy a packet of plastic disk cases quite cheaply. Never put anything, like lacquer, on your disks! -- Mick Murphy - Qld - Australia "Gill Julien" wrote: Quote: > Hi, > > I find that the DVD-R media (disc) get scratched very easy > and quickly become unusable. | | Re: DVD Media Nope. Don't put anything on them. You can buy some sleeves (plastic or paper) that protect them. -- Dustin Harper dharper@xxxxxx http://www.VistaRIP.com | Vista Resource & Information Page "Gill Julien" <gilljulien@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:O9gcN1YcIHA.1184@xxxxxx Quote: > Hi, > > I find that the DVD-R media (disc) get scratched very easy > and quickly become unusable.
