| | missing screen I am using Microsoft Vista Home Addition and I am a novice. I downloaded a copy of turbo tax and part of the screens are missing --- no buttons. I have that problem with other software as well. I know its not Turbotax because it works just fine on my XP laptop. It's driving me crazy. How do I fix it? |

What size of monitor do you have? LCD or CRT (old-style big one)? Laptop or Desktop? If you have a laptop or an LCD monitor, you want to use the screen's native resolution. Get this from the manual for your laptop/monitor or post the missing details here. Change display resolution in Vista: 1. Start Orb>Control Panel>Appearance and Personalization. Click Personalization and then click Display Settings. 2. Under Resolution, move the slider to the resolution you want and then click Apply. | | Re: missing screen Here is a more detailed account of what's missing. The buttons to go from page to page are gone. The best way for me to tell you is that the page is blank where the buttons should be. Not just in Turbotax, but other software as well. Just a large blank spot. It almost seems like the whole program is not loading. I know there must be some setting that is not active, I just can't figure out what it is. I really appreciate your help "Malke" wrote: Quote: > rookieinct wrote: > Quote: > > I am using Microsoft Vista Home Addition and I am a novice.
