DVD/CD burner not working

DVD Device properties states Code 10 - drivers did not load. Are there BIOS
settings that need to be tweaked? Solution please?

Re: DVD/CD burner not working

Hi Nick M,

Do you have iTunes installed? This commonly happens with thier software. A
solution would be to remove (uninstall) it and then download install the
most recent version from Apple.

It's generally not a BIOS problem unless the drive isn't being detected
correctly, or that cabling is loose. Reseating it may help as well.

You may also want to try this fix (method 2), it's the same as in XP:
