Logitech quick cam

Hi All
I am running widows vista home premium 32bit & NIS 2007 on a Q6600 machine.
My old logitech quick cam which used to work fine with XP is not being
detected by its new vista software version 11.5.0.1169. Widows does detect it
but fails to install it from its update. Can some one p. suggest a solution.
Thanks.

Re: Logitech quick cam

I have to admit that I never got mine to work with the 'latest' vista
drivers, however it works fine with the Windows XP drivers supplied on the
original CD that came with the web cam.

Re: Logitech quick cam

Thnx John. Are you saying that I should uninstall this new logitech driver
for vista & use the old xp logitech driver from my cd? I doubt that it vis
would recognize that xp driver.

Re: Logitech quick cam

My old QuickCam works fine with Vista drivers - remove old drivers first and
install new prior to connecting cam - only connect cam when prompted during
installation.
