| Guest | Windows Mobile and Remote desktop Ok, it's by design that if you connect you Windows Mobile device to your machine running Vista, but the computer is locked there is no connection made to the device. Which is fair enough! However I was remoting to the Vista machine from the main XP machine(It was a lazy moment, it's 2 foot away). I connected the HTC Wizard via usb, to the Vista machine and no connection. O well, had to move over to the Vista machine. Logged in locally, still no connection. Disconnected and reconnected, and got a message saying disconnect the other mobile device first! The only way to resolve the message, was to reboot the Vista machine. Reboot all working again. I retied, to replicate the issue a number of times and connected the device while remoted in, same issue. I guess mobile device center(beta), is just having issues with how the user is logged in. But this could be used as a vulnerability if mobile device center is leaving open a connection after the device it removed. Appart from this, since Windows Mobile Device Center Beta v2. Syncing has been 100%, great work Mobile Device Team!! Jasper UK PS Any chance of getting the save password option back on connect? |
