problem with 3 display

hi!
just got a new ibm pc vista in office,
followed the advise fm below :
http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/device...imonVista.mspx

& tried to add 2 extra display cards for 3 monitors set up but not
workable, anyone can help me on this:

situation 1-- 2 x pci ati radeon 9250
after vista running, it detected the display cards & automatically search &
installed driver, but it still showing "!" on the device manager
tried to reboot several times but still hung!!
when using 1 extra display crad instead, 2 displays are working fine! but
onboard display card was disable as expected
bios setting on video for "atuo" & "pci" are both work fine for only 1 pci
display card,

situation 2-- 1 x pci ati radeon 9250 + 1 x pcie ati radeon hd3450
not able to boot up!
when using only hd3450, 2 displays are working fine! but onboard display
card was disable
bios setting on video for "atuo"--- only work fine for 1 pcie card
& when set to "pci" then only pci radeon 9250 work fine,

anyone have a good suggestion??

Re: problem with 3 display

You should source the drivers from ATI and not rely on Vista default
drivers, particularly if wanting dual supported by the card
There is a site, whose url I cannot locate right now, that reports on cards
that will work together, not all do

Of course there is the option of Matrox triple head

Re: problem with 3 display

forgot to mentioned that i also tried to use the Xp driver for the 9250 pci
as they don't have vista driver!
when stand alone pci, it work for 2 monitor display!
but when add 1 more display card, then system hung!

matrox should be a good sulution, but it is very expensive comparing to
those pci card!!

Re: problem with 3 display

AFAIK for multiple displays to work in Vista they have to be using the same
drivers.
ATI 91xx and 92xx cards do not have native DX9 support so there are no Vista
drivers for these cards from ATI.
