Moto S9 and Gateway Laptop with Bluetooth

Boy am I going crazy. A brand new laptop and brand new S9 Moto stereo
headphones. I pair them to the computer and it acknowledges them. However, I
get no sound whatsoever from the headphones. The Bluetooth screen show they
are there as both a stereo headphones as well as a wireless headset.

Can anyone help with this one? I have gone to Motorola and downloaded the
latest driver, which was the same as I had, but I though mine may have had a
problem, but no luck with that. 2 weeks of playing for 2 or 3 hours everyday.

Thanks for all the help in advance.

Re: Moto S9 and Gateway Laptop with Bluetooth

Hi rwnorris,

I'm also searching for solution how to connect headphones with mic via bluetooth. I tried to pair my Jabra (mobile heandsfree device with computer). They are paired fine but not able to use it.

I wanted to buy some proper headphones with mic so I can use it for Skype but afraid that will not work as Jabra currently doesn't work.

I'm not sure do we have once device is paired to do some additional setting on the computer.

Kind regards
Jovana

Howdy Jovana,

I have been told that you may pair up to 9 devices to the Bluetooth. My
problem progressed to intermittent sound through the speakers. The "mic"
worked just fine with my video conference on msn messenger.

Sorry I can't be more help. I sent my Moto's back to Motorola for repair
or exchange to see if it would help. I wil let you know more when the come
back,

Re: Moto S9 and Gateway Laptop with Bluetooth

Thanks rwnorris,

please keep me informed how did u progress.
At the moment I'm trying to get another bluetooth device (headphones) so I'll try to pair them to see if it going to work.

Did you do any setting once you paired your device or everything was automatic, as I'm not sure do I have to do some additional setting under add hardware or under sound setting to make paired device 'visible' or ???

kind regards
Jovana

Once you have paired the bluetooth device, the bluetooth in the computer
will work automaticly when you get within range. I have done it on my
desktop and it works well. You can turn up the volume, advance, retreat or
pause the music all from the control of the headphone once it has recognized
them. www.rwnorris.com

Jovana,

Just to let you know that I have found that it is the Vista Software that is
creating the problem. Vista "stacks" do not work with the Blue Tooth. Go to
this website and it may help resolve your problem:

It was a bit of a help for me.
