Vista x64 BSOD or hangs

I have an Asus Striker II Formula m/b(3xPciex16) with two 8800GTX in SLI. I bought an AverMedia A177 duo hybrid DVB-t tuner which is pcie x1.When installed the drivers I saw that it took the same IRQ with my 8800 gpus (IRQ16).The manual of the m/b says the 3 pcie slots have share feature for the IRQ. When starting scanning for channels using the software of the avermedia or the Media Center of vista i get some times BSOD or the system hangs for a while(not even move the mouse cursor) then for a second can do something, then hangs again and so on.
The avermedia as I can see in the device manager use the same memory with pci standard-pci to pci bridge, and the same IRQ with my gpus. The BSOD some times refer IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.
What is going wrong? If I don't use the scan of the channels everything works fine.
(PS.I have inserted the pcie x1 avermedia in the middle pcie x16 connector now.I firstly tried the pcie x1 connector and had the same problems)

Looking forward for your help.

Re: Vista x64 BSOD or hangs

You need to post the stop error code. To prevent an immediate reboot so you
can read the screen, right click on Computer, select Properties, click on
Advanced System Settings, under Startup and Recovery click Settings, and
uncheck the box Automatically Restart.

Re: Vista x64 BSOD or hangs

After installing SP1 which I downloaded today from Microsoft I don't get BSOD anymore or hangs...But the scan finishes and finds the frequencies of the local tv channels, without seeing any picture of them on the program. When then selecting a channel i get a repeated sound like crash from my speakers and no sound...perhaps I ll have to reinstal the driver and/or the program of the card.I ll try some other progs i have (Media Center of Vista and Nero Home and post again here).
Regards,
Thomas

Re: Vista x64 BSOD or hangs

I got a BSOD again when trying to search for digital channels using Nero Home 8.
The message is :
"A problem has been detected and windows...
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
....
***STOP: 0x0000003B (0x00000000C000001D, 0xFFFFF80001C88EE0, 0xFFFFFA60117AE9F0, 0x00000000000000)

PS.I also noticed that the lcd connected on the second 8800GTX card continued displaying what it displayed in windows before BSOD

RE: Vista x64 BSOD or hangs

What is your MB temp, and if you have temp probes what is the surface temp of
your tuner card?
