| | System halted caused by wireless network card My computer is Acer Aspire 3105(which is a laptop), and I added a USB wireless network card recently, the model of which is ASUS WL-167g. But after the network card pluged into the computer for a while, the system might be halted. What shown on the screen was still, and it didn't respond to me however I move the mouse and press the keys. The only thing I could do is to restart the computer. And sometimes it shows a blue screen to me before being halted(but very rarely), and the information on it says that this problem was caused by the network card(the last line shows a file name and the file is the driver of the network card). It occurs not only when I use the driver provided by Windows Vista it self but also after when I upgraded the driver to the one provided by AUSU which is said to be fit for Windows Vista 32. Even it doesn't give occasion to system halted, the wireless network may turn to unable frequently. Now I can't even use my computer normally when the network card was pluged in. I tried to find out the solution on the web but no result. Who can help me? Thanks a lot!! |
