| | Bluetooth problems (I asked this question in the general forum, only afterwards I noticed that this group was available) Hi, I have an Acer 5920 which includes a Bluetooth adapter. I pair a bluetooth GPS with no problems, and any program can open the port and communicate with the GPS. But if I put the laptop to sleep, when I wake it up the GPS still connects to the laptop, but the port cannot be opened anymore. If I restart Vista, and I pair the GPS again, the port can be opened; sleep again, and the port is dead. I've also tried hooking up a Dell Axim v50 through bluetooth to the laptop and the same happens: after waking up from sleep, the laptop is unable to open the COM port. Anyone knows what this could be about? -- tinchote Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |

It's the port that cannot be opened by the applications (after the first time). -- tinchote Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |
