| | MS Remote & Keyboard - Random keypresses/shutdown Afternoon all, I have this odd problem with my MS Media Centre Keyboard and Remote. For instance, when browsing the "Guide" in media centre, if I keep pressing down on the remote, random characters (0, 6 and 7 generally) appear, or the guide will suddenly jump to another part of the screen. With the keyboard, similar things happen: When typing in URL's, more characters appear. E.g ww0w.mi7cro7sof0t.co0m, which can get VERY annoying, especially when entering passwords. If I alt-tab away from Media Centre and open explorer to browse files, the computer will shut down (as if I hit "Sleep") while using the mouse "nipple". It doesnt happen all the time, a reboot *usually* sorts it. Can someone help me before I throw them out the window? Thanks, Doc |
