Recent Automatic Updates are Freezing Up My Desktop-Restore Point

Recent automatic updates (April 21-25) are causing my computer, screen,
mouse...key board to freeze. I have to perform a hard boot. I initiated a
restore point back to April 10 2008 and this fixed the problem. What do I do
now? Never install an update again? Help?

RE: Recent Automatic Updates are Freezing Up My Desktop-Restore Point

I have the same issue after installing an optional update at May 2008 (I
think it was 'Intel Corporation - Display - Moble Intel(R) 965 Express
Chipset Family'). But, unfortunately I installed some other updates after
that and now I can't restore system. What could I do to fix this problem?
It's SO frustrating to work while the screen and mouse are all time
freezing... Thanks

Re: Recent Automatic Updates are Freezing Up My Desktop-Restore Point

The easiest way for this is just check what update is causing the issue. You can go ahead & manually do the windows update. And block the update which is causing the issue. If you are unable to block the update then try to uninstall it.

Hope It Helps ! ! ! !
