TV Cards

Will a suitable TV Card obtainable for my Vista Home Premium allow me to
copy tapes from VCR to my hard drive for later editing. Or can someone
recommend a reasonable priced card for this purpose.

I use the Hauppauge HVR-1800 to do just that and it works great!
If you're running 4GB RAM or less, you can also use their older, analog-only
cards but if you live in the US, you may have a problem next year.
