Re: Dllhost.com problem please do kindly help

Hi, Sangrilla.

I don't know anything about dllhost.com, but Google gets about 332 hits.

Google gets about 268,000 hits for dllhost.exe. The first hit says, among
other things:
"Note: The dllhost.exe file is located in the folder C:\Windows\System32. In
other cases, dllhost.exe is a virus, spyware, trojan or worm!"

My computer (Vista Ultimate x64) has C:\Windows\system32\dllhost.exe. It
does NOT have dllhost.com.

When I Google for "Shareaza +dllhost" I get over 3,000 hits. On the first
page of hits, some appear to suggest that Shareaza is one of several P2P
file sharing networks that often are used to spread the Win32.Elitper.E
virus. Peer to peer programs often deliver MORE than we bargain for! :>(

Have you been faithfully "practicing safe hex"? Have you scanned your
computer for viruses and other malware? Recently?
