    Audigy 4 + rc1

Hiya i've got an audigy 4 sound card and i've just installed rc1, and of
course i cant get no sound :-( I've tried the beta drivers from creative and
the xp 64 divers as well and nothing seems to work.

Has anyone managed to get an sudigy 4 to work with rc1? And how?

For Audigy 2 ZS platinum (probably the same for Audigy 4) on 64-bit RC1 5600

Hit F8 when booting. Wait until your BIOS loads then hit it and keep hitting
    it.

select "disable driver checks" (Something like that) it's the bottom
selection in a group of 8 or so selections

Install drivers once Vista loads up

You must do this every time you boot or Vista will disable your drivers.

If you have already installed your drivers and your installation is hosed
then you will either have to reformat C: or go to a system restore point
before you did the driver installation. This is probably because the driver
remover in the installation software doesn't work very well

You could also try 32-bit (x86) vista.

OK, On the third install I soved the problem! After install before adding ANY
programs including virus, download the vista 64bit driver and save, then
reboot, at splash screen click on the option at the bottom of the screen
which then gives you a load of options and at the bottom it says to disable
the enforced driver signature, click on this and you return to windows.
Install the driver, multiple warning windows will keep flashing up , just
cancel them all QUICKLY, eventually you will win and have sound. One catch,
whenever you reboot you must go the same route and disable the driver
sinature thingy ( very technical term!)
