blue screen problem

Hi,
Having a problem when using the remove hardware safely, this works on
everything except the modem, when trying to remove the phone connection I get
the safe to remove and get a blue screen when doing so, anyone got any
suggestions as to what might be wrong.

regards

aga

First guess would be the driver and the first place to look would be the
device's manufacturer's website - or perhaps it has some firmware that
can be updated.

BSODs can be confusing because sometimes it will look like a hardware
fault but be nothing more than a driver, sometimes the opposite is the case.

Hi Charlie,
When you say the driver, would I be looking for the modem
driver update! yes it only seems to be when it's the phone line is removed.
Thanks
