Vista - why need much more time to format USB drive media

=?Utf-8?B?amk=?= n/a posts	why need much more time to format USB drive media I installed Vista RC1 and XP in same PC. there's an issue, need much more time to format a media, say SD, xD or CF, in Vista than format them in XP. Why?
