Thanks all, I did do an upgrade from XP to RC1, and I did install then using
XP compatibility mode by mistake.
I just couldn't turn off compatibility mode, so I just went back to a
restore point before I installed the drivers and then I was able to
install then all over again, and now everything is fine. Darn, I keep
forgetting about system restore
