| | Vista x64 eSATA Issues Has anyone been successful on getting Vista x64 to recognize an eSATA drive? I've tried motherboard connections and 3rd party hardware, and nothing is ever recognized. Even tried a supposed hotfix from MS (sorry no link) without luck. Nothing shows up in the management area, and all other SATA drives operate fine and BIOS is set to AHCI SATA. Any suggestions?? |

Have you gone into device manager and "searched for new devices"? | Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: Vista x64 eSATA Issues search net for a free program called CDGONE, works like a charm. I had same problem recently and remembered using this in the past with XP. |
