Re: error code 19

Hello, Retnilps, Welcome to the forums,

If you have a look at this solution from MS It should help,
It states that I works with XP but have seen a lot of Vista related questions directed here.

You can no longer access the CD drive or the DVD drive, or you receive an error message after you remove a CD recording program or a DVD recording program in Windows XP: "error code 31"

As it involves a registry edit I have to advise the usual cautions, if you do not feel capable of registry edits then if you

may want to have a look at some of these answers which can provide a script file to do the job

error code 19 dvd vista - Google Search

Hope this helps
