HD Upgrade IDE > SATA2

Hi,

I'm running RC1 64 bit and have just bought an upgrade HD - 80Gb IDE to
320Gb WD SATA 2. I believe I can make the upgrade by transfering data across
without having to do a reinstall.

How best is this done? or is it easier to reinstall and just move
application data files across?
