Dear all,
I have a Dell Vostro 1510 laptop with the following specification:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHz, 6 Mb L2 Cache, 800 MHz FSB, T9300
H.D.D: 320 Gbyte 5400 rpm.
O.S: Windows Vista Ultimate, Linux Ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS (installed under windows)
RAM: 3 Gb, DDR2, 800 MHz FSB
Graphics chipset: Gefoce 8400GS, 256 Mb onboard + 1.5 Gb Shared
I have recently increased the RAM to 4 Gb. Bios Setup has recognized 4 Gbytes of Ram. Windows also shows 4 Gbytes of Ram when in System specification in Mycomputer menu Properties. But In task maganer, It still inicates 3 Gb of ram. My graphics chipset uses about 1.5 Gb of ram from system's ram. Does it mean that I will not notice any improvement in my system's performance at all? or there might in graphics?
Regards,
Mehrdad Pourfathi
