| | Radeon X1800 TV-Out Does anyone know how to get TV-Out with this card without it interfering with the desktop? Its an S-Video output to the TV, and DVI to the monitor. If I leave it so only the monitor is selected, then I can change the resolution up to my usual 1280x1024. If I put the Clone to the TV, however, the desktop drops straight to 1024x768, matching the TV resolution, and refuses to change for anything. Is this just a problem with the ATI drivers being in beta? I imagine they wouldn't focus so much on the TV output, as the drivers they've made would no doubt be for developers working on the Vista platform, but if not.. how to fix it? I never did like the ATI drivers for dual outputs, it didn't work too well on WinXP 32bit either. Actually, theres a lot of things I don't like about the ATI drivers, the control panel is so unfriendly. |

| | Re: Radeon X1800 TV-Out The S-Video (alias TV-Out) standard only supports a 480i 4:3 aspect ratio displays of images no larger then 1024x768. So for clone mode to work the desktop cannot be anything larger AFAIK.
