Re: Philips TV Tuner Card.

Which Phillips Tuner card do you have since not all of them are Media Center
compatible and come with optional Media Center drivers required for analog
tuner cards?

Re: Philips TV Tuner Card.

Mine is the EZ-TV TVP3XP (NTSC). It comes with FM Tuner as well.
Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you!

Re: Philips TV Tuner Card.

The link you provided has absolutly no information to imply that it ihas an
onboard encoder chip and is supported by Media Center with separate MCE 2005
drivers.in fact it lists XP as the supported OS and not MCE 2005.
You can probably run it with its own XP software application if you install
that useing XP compatibility mode kist oin Vista without trying to use MC.

Re: Philips TV Tuner Card.

It doesn't have a hardware mpeg encoder so it cannot work with MCE. Try 3rd
party software like GB-PVR , Dscaler, etc.
