| Vista Ultimate x64 | Write protection problem, omg... I am having a serious problem with my 4th hard disk (a recently installed 1.5TB Seagate). The hard drive has become write protected - I cannot copy or move data from/to it. I read here and did all that was told - and the disk started working properly again. The problem right now is that after a reboot, the hard drive becomes write protected AGAIN... why does this happen? Oh and also, when I ran the 'diskpart.exe' and checked the status of my 'F' volume - it said that drive was NOT READ ONLY; I then did 'ATTRIBUTES DISK CLEAR READONLY'and then it started working again (so diskpart.exe was lying????)... until I rebooted my PC and it became write protected... AGAIN!!!! Does anyone have a solution???? I am desperate! |
