| | Help choosing Video Card Hey guys, I was wondering if someone can recommend a decent video card to upgrade to. I am not a gamer nor do graphic design so when i bought my pc 2 years ago i went with a cheap card, works fine for me but obviously it won't do the trick for Vista as far as Aero goes. I have a GForce4 I guess must be a pretty old one cos obvoiusly Vista doesn't like it too much. I'm just looking form something that will be good enough to run Vista comfortably. Again since I dont play games or do any graphic work in my PC, i am not loking for a high end card. Any suggestions are apppreciated... |

| | Re: Help choosing Video Card I installed an ASUS EAX1600PRO with 512MB (on the advice of a sales guy at my local systems builder). I wanted something that works well with Vista, and is good for video editing (Movie Maker, DVD Maker). The fan is a little noisy, but the price was right ($140), and it works really well. On RC1 I used the ATI Catalyst drivers; on RC2 I'm using the MS supplied drivers. |
