Vista - Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum not working in Vista RC1

I just recently upgraded to Vista RC1 5600

I have a Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum with the newest Vista drivers that were
released on the creative site (2.11). The drivers installed fine and the
bootup sounds play when i login to windows, however I cannot play mp3s or
video from itunes, winamp, or windows media player. They work on my nvidia
onboard sound card though.

Is anyone having the same problem? Any suggestions?

Same, RC1, issues with TV Card and sound. -- I have a soundblaster Live!
(which has no vista drivers)

Through googling, there are a lot of people who have similar problems, but I
am yet to hear a quick-fix solution
