| | Sound hardware acceleration... I was curious if there was a way in Vista to shut off hardware acceleration for the sound card. I'm getting sound stuttering in certain games that I normally corrected by shutting off acceleration, but I can't find a setting to do it. |

That makes things quite a bit more sticky, but saved me from running through hoops for the next few days. So, in short, thank you for pointing that out. Saved me a lot of time.
