Vista - wireless and sound card

Can anybody advise why vista will not allow the installation of my ausb
wireless adapter and the wireless hub as both theses refuse to run their
installation cd.
Vista will not allow the installation CD for my sound card creative X-Fi.
Is this just because candidate (RC1) has not been completed yet?

Have you tried to run them in XP compatibility mode?

You don't give the exact model of you X-Fi, but have you
gone to the Creative Labs and downloaded the Vista drivers?

It's just possible that if you use the right drivers your
X-Fi might work!

You don't give any information about your wireless hardware,
either.

Again, you need to go to the manufacturer's, or vendor's,
web site and look for Vista drivers.
