| | Audio Issues (Repost) I raised this question a week ago and sadly never got a response. I recently purchased and built my first intel system. I have been building amd systems for years and this time intel was cheaper. I selected a Asus P5NSLI system board and installed Vista RC1 on it. The problem I have encountered is that the nforce beta drivers are not taking in RC1 (did not see a symbus device at all). In fact under my audio, I can see a driver called "Microsoft HD Audio Driver". When I checked the audio panel I did not see speakers as my output, instead it said s/pdif connector. I have not seen any way of changing this at all. My question is this, are there any drivers out that will correct this problem or I am just going to have to drop the money on a seperate sound card to fix this situation? I should also add that I am using the x64 version and not the x86. TIA Nathan |
