| | Headphones doesn't work I have a Dell Latitude D610 (Sigma Tel C-Major). My headphones don't work. The sound card works properly as speakers sound alright. I tested the headphone port and headphone using ubuntu linux live and they definetly work. What can be done to correct it? |

| | RE: Headphones doesn't work My dell laptop just crashed so cannot give u the exact answer but in control panel and sound options you should find an option for headphones instead of speakers. it's not very obvious but when i changed that (spent weekend) it was fine. sorry if i cant give more details.
