| vista home premium 64bit | Keyboard keys not doing what their meant to Hey, I have the vista premium 64bit (only 2 days old) and the keyboard keys have gone mental. They replace shortcuts and after a reboot the non-working/"bad" keys change so its a different set of letters. Sometimes F will open find computer while other times it wont, and sometimes L will lock the pc while other times it wont. Ive unistalled, reinstalled, updated the drivers. Restored the system to two days ago. Check all language settings. Im at a loss as to what i can do next. Any help? |

| Windows Vista Enterprise x64 SP2 | Re: Keyboard keys not doing what their meant to I want to say you have a bad keyboard. The best way to test this out is to borrow another keyboard and see if the same problem happens. Some keyboards can be programmed, so this is another consideration. |

I'm assuming when you said the other computers didn't have a usb connection, you were referring to the keyboard connection and not the CPU. |

Same thing, creating its own shortcuts etc etc. Removed it and put my old one back in and had the same problem until i unistalled it from the device list and re-installed it and now its running again. So the problem is in the USB keyboard,or its software that comes with it? And thank you,its 4am and i never even thought of trying it on another pc. |
