| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Keyboard Skipping Around Sorry if this has been addressed before. Basically many times when I'm typing on my 1515 inspiron laptop, the cursor just jumps to a random location on the paper, and sometimes even maximizes minimized windows I have minimized, so it seems it just makes wherever the mouse is on the screen, click, so that where the mouse was the cursor is at now, and if the mouse was on a minimized window then the laptop would maximize that window, and so on. What's going on? I was also going to say Dell should have put a keyboard backlight on the 1515 inspiron, for the dark, like they did with the studio version. Screw you Dell. Well at least I can bend down my monitor to light up the keyboard, lol. For the record, translucent and definitely transparent keyboards are win [not on dell inspiron ].I want a lenovo...but for under 50 bucks, lol. |

| | Re: Keyboard Skipping Around I've had that problem when my wrist brushed the touch pad while typing. The cursor moves unexpectedly. And if you allow tapping to double-click, it gets worse if you are not careful. | Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Keyboard Skipping Around But dude, why does the touch pad have to do with this, if I'm not even touching it? You can say I still may be even though I think otherwise, but that is the very first thing I thought was causing the problem, then I tested. No way in hell did I touch the pad many times and it STILL happened. Maybe it's the feature being enabled itself (touchpad double touch) that causes this, idk. Still, Microsoft has bugs in their pc's. |
