Micromax Q3 (Mobile Phone) gprs modem to Vista Home Basic

I've installed Micromax Q3 (Mobile Phone) gprs modem to Vista Home
Basic

I see my modem installed under Phone and Modem properties

But when I try to call this modem via
Control Pannel> Internet Options> Connections> Setup>
Set A New Connection Anyway> Dialup>

I get

Windows could not detect a dial-up modem
Is the modem connected?
Is the modem switched on?
error

Please help
