Vista - USB device installation error

Hi,

I tried to install OSR USB LX (umdf and kmdf) on windows Vista Beta 2 (build
5384) but failed. The setupapi.dev.log showed the error may related to access
permission. However, I can not figure it out. Can someone help me to solve
the problem?

Its worth a try disabling User Account Control and try connecting again:
Click Start > All Programs > Run > type in MSCONFIG > Tools (tab) > scroll
down select Disable UAC > click Launch, restart your system for the changes
to take effect.

Thanks for your suggestion. I followed the steps you provided (Disable UAP)
and rebooted my computer. However, the problem still exists.

I got the same error as before, here is one of the error code during the
install,
