Vista native resolution

Hello,

I can't change my resolution to my monitors native resolution (1440x900) in
windows vista RC2 5744 x64. I have tried to install viewsonic va1912w monitor
drivers and latest version of nvidia drivers, but nothing seems to work. I
have read from many forums that people have these problems, but they don't
know any solution. Does anyone know what to do in this situation?

My Computer:
Amd64 4200+ X2
2Gb Ram
Asus 7900GT
Viewsonic va1912w
Windows Vista RC2 5744 x64

Re: Vista native resolution

It is a known issue that the latest nVidia drivers do not support this resolution.
You can wait for newer nVidia drivers (I believe that someone posted that they would be available
later this month or so).
There is also a free program on EVGA's web site that will enable you to get this resolution, I
think).
And there is a program called Power Strip, or somesuch, that will enable this resolution.

Re: Vista native resolution

1680 x 1050 on my Viewsonic VA2012wb with eVga GeForce 7800GT is also
broken. I've tried all the available drivers. I couldn't find the
mentioned utility on eVga's site and PowerStrip crashes on Vista x64
DTM on start up.
