1680*1050 - Where is it at?

This is in regards to the Vista x86 I got from MSDN.

I have an NVidia 7900GT wtih a Viewsonic 22" that should be running native
resolution at 1680*1050. I've installed the latest drivers from NVidia, the
Viewsonic Vista Inf, etc & still get no native support. Is this some sort of
crule trick being played by me.

I have a 19" as my 2nd monitor & all is working there as intended.

Any ideas?

Same here, I've been searching for solutions without any luck....

Geforce 7800GT PCI-E connect to Viewsonic VA2012wb via DVI. Vista RTM
x64. No 1680x1050.

RE: 1680*1050 - Where is it at?

Has to be a problem with their drivers. I'm on ATI ones and I run in
1680x1050 without problems.

Re: 1680*1050 - Where is it at?

The nVidia drivers are only a RC2 level, hopefully they will get this
fixed in the final release.

Have you had any problems getting the 1680x1050 to "stick"? I keep having
to change it back to that, everytime I log in. For some reason, it gets
bumped down to 1440x900.

Hi Clint

No haven't had any problems with the resolution with the latest drivers,
always sticks and even after installing them the resolution
automatically goes to my optimal 1680x1050

Re: 1680*1050 - Where is it at?

What kind of monitor do you have? It seems to work with some
monitors, not others.
