Vista - Asus P5WD2 Premium Sound Driver

Does anyone know where i can download any drivers for the realtek ALC882D on
board audio for use with the 32bit beta 2 version of vista

Have you checked the manufacturers website for support for Vista? If they
don't, report it to Microsoft. A few links to report to them are here:

Goto realtek site and download their vista zip file.
Its listed as ALC880 but I think they wanted to list it as 880 series or 88x
idea.
There is no "popup" window and at times it looks "froze" but just wait.
It finally shows a zip folder that you will extract all, then it shows a new
unzipped folder that you open and run the setup. good luck.

download beta driver from Realtek.com and install it
1. Start
2. control panel
3. audio devices and sound themes
4. double clixk on Realtek
5. select Properties
6. unselect Realtek Digital output
7. apply
8. listen to the music
