Vista - Game Controller Not Showing Up

I have an adapter for a Gamecube controller. Under XP it shows up as a Game
Controller, but under Vista it shows up un Game Controller Adapters in the
device manager (like is should). My question is how I get it now to show up
as a Game Controller so I can use it?

I believe it's no longer supported as the game ports isn't supported either.

Ko, is it true that MIDI is not supported anymore as well? I thought I read
that somewhere.

Colin,

If the drivers do support midi trough as on soundcards it does still as long
as the mfgr does provide Vista drivers for it. The same with the game port,
if the mfgr has drivers for Vista they will work, but no native support
anymore as was in XP. But AFAIK no build in drivers.

Well that is just ridiculus! Why would they take out the drivers for using
the midi port on a motherboard! Is there any software I can get to enable the
port again?
