If you have a desktop then you can upgrade to a dedicated solution; if you have a laptop...Throw it off a bridge and replace it with a new one? I wish I could be of more help. However, since MC only communicates with the card drivers and not to the card itself MC does not know where the DX9 support is provided from. ATI for example provided the DX9 support for its 91xx and 92xx cards it its XP Catalyst drivers and MC never knew the difference.
