I call Asus they said they had no plans to do a driver for this 3c940. I need
one for Vista 32 bit can anyone help me or is this the end for me and Vista.

Have you tried using the XP drivers, they worked for my 3COM nic. Also, file
a report on the issue:

Ok, I realize now after searching and calling for hours 3com,Asus, or anyone
else is going to support the 3C940, now I seached every where for a list of
supported Nic's
for Vista can't find it can anyone help

Try the driver from Xp, it really works for me. Over Windows Vista Update i
became automaticly a driver for this NIC. Version is 1.0.0.46(for XP).
Driver works for me fine.

Install from Device manager, update driver then seach for the driver on the
CD, rather than using the Software install that comes up when you insert the
CD that comes with the MB, it worked for me.
