Beta Announcement: Windows Vista Hardware Assessment

Beta Program Now Available for Windows Vista Hardware Assessment
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/win...eadassess.mspx

Windows Vista Hardware Assessment is a centralized and agentless tool designed to assess the readiness of client computers for Windows Vista. It quickly inventories computers and devices, identifies the supported Windows Vista experience, and recommends specific hardware upgrades as appropriate. This network-wide assessment tool is designed to run from a single networked PC to assess all PCs within the network with proper network credentials.

In addition, it will provide detailed reporting that clearly shows the 3 different levels of Vista readiness of existing PCs:
a.. Client machines that are incompatible with Windows Vista
b.. Clients machines ready for the Windows Vista Capable Experience
c.. Clients machines ready for the Windows Vista Premium Ready Experience
Register for the Public Beta today! Beta build will be released in January 2007.
