Anyone gotten DViCO FusionHDTV5 USB Gold working properly in Vista?

The last drivers/software that DViCO posted were on November 1, 2006
(http://www.fusionhdtv.co.kr/ENG/Download/Software.aspx). DViCO's
application crashes within a few minutes of starting (usually when trying to
change channels), and Windows Media Center sees only a small subset of
channels. (The device works well in XP.)

Is anyone having better luck than I'm having?

Hi Herb

I was getting similar results with the DVICO Nano (Nano2) usb tuner using
the FusionHDTV 3.50.02 version with Vista64 rc2.

Prompted by your post, and hopeful for a new driver now Vistas released, I
returned to the Dvico site today, and picked up this driver (Vista 64bit):

http://www.fusionhdtv.co.kr/eng/Down...taSupport.aspx

So far it seems a bit more robust, though I got a crash swapping between a
576i and 1080i HD channel. It recorded 29mins of a 576p (HD) show, but
seems to have crashed when my screen saver cut in, and the recording was ok
to play. Another recording in 576i was fine.

Again, another 35min recording of a broadcast in 1080i was fine.

These were all done using the Dvico FusionHDTV software, not Media Centre.

Stability doesn't seem to be in DViCO's vocabulary when it comes to Vista,
so I guess "a bit more stable" is all one can expect. Since I'm using a
32bit system, I'm, still waiting for something post version 3.50.01.
