Vista Tutorial - Memorex 16X DVD writer doesnt show up

I installed Vista from the DVD that i received from the MS event and after i
installed my DVD drive was fine. I started updating the drivers for my
Viewsonic lcd monitor and after which the dvd drive doesnt show up. In the
device managers section there is an exclamation after the memorex drive, and
this the message from the properties:
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be
corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and
to see if there is a solution available.

I checked the event viewer\Windows Log\System and this is the ERROR message
i see there:
IRQARB: ACPI BIOS does not contain an IRQ for the device in PCI slot 14,
function 0. Please contact your system vendor for technical assistance.

Could someone please help.
I run Athlon 64bit processor with 1 GB Ram on Machspeed 939 MOBO

Help would be greatly appreciated
