Multiple SATA Hard drives

I have 3 SATA hard drives on my system Vista will only see the one it's
installed on (C. Drives D: and E: are only under my devices not in
Computer details. This is an RC1 version Built 5600. I can not see any of
the files or access the drives from Vista. Workes fine if I start my XP Pro
on drive D:.

Re: Multiple SATA Hard drives

The partition(s) wouldn't happen to be dynamic would they?

Re: Multiple SATA Hard drives

You may have 2 different SATA chipset on your motherboard, like I have
on my ASUS motherboard. Make sure you have drivers for each.

I had a similar situation after installing Vista to it's own partition
in a dual-boot setup. I used the Drive Management console to manually
assign drive letters to the other drives, and then they were displayed
in Windows Explorer.
